Location

Timber Cove is located approximately 17 miles north of the town of Jenner.  Hwy 116 meets the coast highway just south of Jenner.  Jenner is at the mouth of the russian river.

From the Golden Gate Bridge: Follow Highway 101 north to the East Washington Street exit in Petaluma, approximately 45 minutes north of the Golden Gate. Follow East Washington Street through the town of Petaluma. East Washington will turn into Bodega Ave and take you through the expansive farm lands of western Sonoma County. The road changes names but stay on the main road and it becomes Hwy 1 just before the town of valley ford.  There is a great market here for last minute items before heading up to the coast.  From there, you will enter Bodega Bay, the charming seaside fishing town, famous for the location of Alfred Hitchcock's movie The Birds.

From Bodega Bay, follow Highway One along the coast to Jenner, and the mouth of the Russian River. Timber cove is approx 34 miles from bodega bay.

An alternate route is to go north on 101 through the city of Santa Rosa.  a few miles north of town take the river road exit.  Go left and follow river road, which changes to Hwy 116 in the town of Geurneville.  Follow 116 to Jenner then Hwy 1 north to Timber Cove.

Be advised there is vary little cell phone coverage north of Bodega Bay.
